AMY MACDONALD 18.02.2026 The Hall, Zurich
Amy Macdonald announces details of her major tour of the UK and Europe - including a stop at The Hall, Zurich on February 18, 2026. She will also release her new album "Is This What You've Been Waiting For?" on July 11, 2025.

Amy Macdonald's gift for creating positive, uplifting songs from relatable stories of triumph, struggle and hope has made her one of the UK's best-loved artists. This talent has attracted a huge audience and led to five albums that have reached the top 5 across Europe (including one number 1 in the UK and two in Germany), with over 12 million sales, 12 international platinum certifications and over a billion streams. She is also a consistently big draw on stage, having played to more than 5 million people worldwide.

Now Amy is opening a new chapter: On July 11, she releases her sixth album "Is This What You've Been Waiting For?" via Infectious. She is releasing the album along with the lead single and title track and also confirms details of a major tour of the UK and Europe, including a big home show at Glasgow's OVO Hydro arena. Amy will prepare for the album's release with a series of big festival sets, including the Isle of Wight Festival and Neighbourhood Weekender, as well as further shows in Germany and Switzerland - where she will perform at The Hall on February 18, 2026.

"Is This What You've Been Waiting For?" is a bold new collection of songs that will remind the world why they fell in love with her in the first place. Amy holds nothing back in songs full of cathartic release and escapist energy. Her unwavering spirit bubbles up in the themes she explores, born from experiences both firsthand and witnessing other people's struggles of toxic friendships, feeling trapped in relationships, and having the courage to break free from the pressures of social expectations. Survival and the idea of moving forward prove to be powerful leitmotifs on the album. There is also an appreciation for the fans whose dedicated, persistent support makes all of this possible. Amy says: "I'm very happy to be where I am now. I have this career, good friends, my family and people still seem to want to listen to my music, which is great. I'm real, kind of raw - honestly I improvise most of the time."
