In My Sunrise you can transfer your subscription with all rights and obligations to a different person:

How it works:

Here's a step-by-step guide to what happens when you click on «Change owner».

Person A: Current subscription owner

Person B: Future subscription owner

The overview shows which products in My Sunrise can be selected for an ownership transfer. At the top, three selectable products (Up Internet XL, UP TV XL, and Up Phone M) are displayed. In the middle, an info bar indicates that some products are not available for transfer. Below, these non-transferable products (Up Mobile XL) are listed.
1. Start change of ownership

Person A

  • Clicks on «Change owner» and logs in to My Sunrise.

  • Selects the plan they want to transfer and clicks on «Go to the product» (e.g., Up TV XL).

A change of ownership is not always possible (e.g., if there are unpaid bills).

2. Enter details

Person A

  • Enters person B's contact information (phone or email).

  • Selects a transfer date and clicks on «Confirm».

Please allow approximately two to three weeks for processing once person B has submitted all the necessary information. The change-of-ownership process will only start once all the necessary identification steps have been completed successfully.

3. Confirmation via SMS or email

Person B receives an SMS or email with further instructions.

4. Confirm transfer

Person B checks the subscription information and confirms by clicking on «Next».

The image shows a Sunrise page with the section "Personal Information." An existing Sunrise customer can log in to complete their identification. Below, a future customer can perform an ID check.
5. Finalise identification

Depending on the type of customer, there are two possibilities:

1. Person B is already a Sunrise customer: They must log in to My Sunrise directly and confirm the transfer.

2. Person B is a new customer: They must verify their identity through an ID check. A valid ID is required for this. Select: «Scan now» or «Scan later».

6. Complete the change of ownership

Person B

  • Checks personal information and amends it where necessary.

  • Confirms by clicking on «Transfer subscription» – finished!
