Network overview and device profiles

With the Connect app, you can keep track of all your connected devices. Manage your network settings and create individual device profiles to get the most out of your WiFi and stay on top of everything.

1. Managing connected devices

Displaying connected devices

  • The Connect app displays all devices connected to your modem and pods/WiFi Extenders.

Displaying devices by type

  • View the connected devices based on their device type.

Suspending the Internet connection for individual devices

  • You can suspend the Internet connection for any device connected to your WiFi.

    Note: In these cases, a smartphone can switch to the mobile network.

Creating user profiles and assigning devices

  • Create user profiles and assign devices to these profiles.

    Note: User profiles allow you to pause the Internet connection for a group of devices. For example, you can assign all of your children’s devices to a dedicated child profile and disable the Internet connection for these devices.

2. Optimising the WiFi via Smart WiFi
  1. If a Connect Pod/WiFi Extender is recommended, you’ll be notified following a Home Scan.

  2. You don’t need to configure the Connect Pods/WiFi extenders via the app. They can simply be plugged in and will connect to the existing WiFi network automatically (plug and play).

Go to the device screen and tap on a Connect Pod/WiFi Extender to view its connection status.

If you’ve already connected a Connect Pod/Wi-Fi extender and it’s not visible, please start the manual configuration via the Connect App. Click on «Devices»>«Network»>«Plus icon»/«Install device»>«Start installation». Please then follow the instructions on the screen.

3. Saving network settings
  1. Go to the «For you» screen and tap on the settings icon at the top left.

  2. Make sure the «Automatically back up network settings» switch is enabled. Once it is, your Connect Box settings will be stored in the cloud.

  3. If you need to restore the factory settings on your Connect Box or need to replace your modem, the modem settings will be restored.
