Sunrise Internet Box Fiber
Attention
When installing Sunrise Internet for the first time, you will receive an activation confirmation via email or SMS as soon as the connection is activated.
However, if you already use Sunrise Internet and are only replacing your modem, you can simply proceed with the installation.
Find the perfect spot
Place the box in a central position in your appartement. Do not place the box in a closet or closed furniture.

Installation
Plug the mains adapter cable into the POWER connector on the rear of the Sunrise Internet Box Fiber and plug the other end into a power socket (wall socket or extension cable).
Switch on the Sunrise Internet Box Fiber by pressing the on/off button on the left side.
Remove the protective caps from both ends of the fiber cable and as well on the box.
Connect the end of the fiber optic cable, which is marked with Box, to the fiber module on the back of your Sunrise Internet Box Fiber.
Open the flap of the connection required (1-4) at your fiber optic socket (OTO socket).
Note: The connection (1-4) that you need to use is shown in the information regarding the order status that you received from us.
Caution
The fiber optic cable and the fiber module have caps for protection. Please only remove these shortly before plugging in.
Note: The cable and the connections are very sensitive. Please do not let the cable kink and protect it against any contamination.
This process takes normally up to 5 minutes. In some cases it could take up to 30 minutes.
Now connect your devices to your Wi-Fi network. Scan the QR Code with your smartphone or connect your devices manually with the related information on the sticker on your box.
You will find both on the underside of the Sunrise Internet Box Fiber or on the sticker provided.
Plug the yellow LAN cable supplied into one of the 3 yellow connections (1 – 3) on the rear of the Sunrise Internet Box Fiber.
Plug the other end of the LAN cable into the LAN connection (Ethernet) of your computer.
10 Gbit LAN Port
To achieve the best possible speed, the LAN cable must be connected to the LAN port labeled with 10 Gbps.
