Porting a landline number
We’ll show you how convenient it is to take your landline number with you to Sunrise.
How number porting works
1. Select a subscription and sign up for a contract
Select the Sunrise subscription that best suits your needs and take out a contract online, at a Sunrise shop or over the phone. A standard landline connection is included free with all products.
Important
Check your current minimum contract duration and notice period to avoid incurring penalty fees with your previous provider.
The regular notice period is usually 60 days. The earliest date you can request landline-number porting is 120 days before your old subscription expires.
2. Get us to cancel the contract for you
Do you want to sign up for a new contract, but prefer us to cancel your old contract for you? Well, nothing could be simpler!
You can use the authorization form to allow us to cancel the contract with your old provider and at the same time request that your landline number be ported. You can print out the authorization form yourself or request one in a Sunrise shop.
Please note
Please make sure that the authorization form is filled out correctly (full name exactly as it appears in your current contract, cancellation date, signature). If the information is incorrect, we won’t be able to port your number. If changes are made later on, you'll have to complete the form again and either send it to us or hand it in at a Sunrise shop.
3. Send the authorization form to Sunrise
Send your completed authorization form by post to:
Sunrise LLC
Thurgauerstrasse 101B
PO Box
8152 Glattpark (Opfikon)
Or hand it in at a Sunrise shop.
Note
It can take up to two weeks to process the submitted form.
The details on your authorization form will be recorded by one of our staff. We’ll then forward the request to your previous provider and will need to give them some time to respond.
