To play such an overweight character, former «The Mummy» star Brendan Fraser had to spend several hours at a time wearing a heavy suit of prosthetic body fat and he ended up growing muscles in parts of his body he didn’t even know he had. It gave him a new-found respect for people with a similar physique to that of the professor he plays who’s looking to reconnect with his estranged daughter. – Very poignant!
Comic action in «Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania»: now available in the VoD store
«Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania» follows on from the two previous movies «Ant-Man» (2015) and «Ant-Man and the Wasp» (2018), making it the second MCU trilogy after Jon Watts’ three «Spider-Man» movies to have been produced by a single director (Peyton Reed). In Scott Lang’s third solo adventure, Paul Rudd plays the role of an exceptional superhero who explores the Quantum Realm and meets the villain Kang. – Typical Marvel!
WW2 in «Sisu»: available in the VoD store from July 27
This bloody and brutal action movie is set in Finland in 1944, at the height of the Second World War. Miner Aatami Korpi (Jorma Tommila) has turned his back on the war, though, and after years of searching, has found gold deposits in the ground in Lapland. Unfortunately, as he travels through the wilderness he encounters a platoon of German soldiers who seize his gold.
