Rocket the raccoon’s flashback at the start of the third film is enough to move you to tears. And in the end it also reveals why the Guardians actually teamed up and became best friends in the first place. Once again, the film features lots of action, cool sound, a little heartache, and a healthy dollop of self-mockery, making «Volume 3» a fitting conclusion to the «Guardians» series that will have those tears welling up more than once. It’s a must-see for fans.

High-tech robots in «Transformers: Rise of the Beasts»: available in the VoD store from 14 September

In 1994, two archaeologists from the New York borough of Brooklyn become embroiled in an ancient conflict that takes them on a journey around the globe. Along with Autobots like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Mirage and Arcee, they learn that the Transformers can be divided into three different subgroups: the Maximals, the Predacons and the Terrorcons. The computer tricks are thrilling!

Laughter galore in «No Hard Feelings»: available in the VoD store from 14 September

In this hit US comedy, Jennifer Lawrence is asked by concerned parents (played superbly by «Ferris Bueller’s Day Off» star Matthew Broderick and Laura Benanti) to entice their shy 19-year-old son Percy (Andrew Feldman) to have sex. This comedy excels not just in its critical portrayal of helicopter parents, but also the chemistry between Lawrence and Feldman, and it really challenges many of the clichés associated with the genre. Simply hilarious!
