    «connect» test confirms: Sunrise mobile network is «OUTSTANDING»

    As a leading telecom magazine in Europe, «connect» is the authoritative reference for network tests. The connect mobile network test was published recently, and the Sunrise network was once again awarded the highest rating of «OUTSTANDING».

    For many years, the Sunrise mobile network has received the highest rating of «Outstanding» in the connect comparison test, highlighting the network’s consistently high quality, among other things.  

    This year, Sunrise has once again raised its game to the highest level, achieving the top spot in important categories and excellent ratings for key quality attributes. When it comes to the overall rating, Sunrise closed the gap to Swisscom significantly and increased its lead on Salt in third place. 

     

    Sunrise won the «Voice» category, which represents the best mobile services in Switzerland, with the fewest interruptions, shortest call-connection times and the best voice-transmission quality. With 269 points, Sunrise was just one point short of the highest possible score (270 points). 

     

    As joint winner in the «Data» category, Sunrise provides the best data connections with the highest network availability and the mobile Internet speeds. Sunrise also continues to offer the largest 5G network in Switzerland. In addition, Sunrise has been declared the most reliable network for mobile data connections. This category evaluates the quality of basic services that are crucial for customers’ everyday needs.  

     

    Just like last year, Sunrise delivered the highest-quality mobile broadband coverage in the crowd measurements. These test show how well the network performs on customers’ devices in large crowds. 

     

    Scoring an impressive 973 out of 1,000 points, the Sunrise mobile network ranks among the world’s top 10 best and most powerful mobile networks in the umlaut connect mobile network test. So far, the Sunrise network is the only network to be awarded this top rating nine times in a row.

    As a leading telecom journal, «connect» sets the benchmark for network tests in Europe. It has just published the results of its annual mobile network test. The test and connect as a seal of quality attract a great deal of attention from both business and private customers.  


    The best technical performance for each network is measured and compared, along with the benefits they provide to the people who use them every single day. The tests evaluate voice and data connections that people make while walking, in the car and on trains. The measurements are converted into points. Across the whole test, telecom providers can reach a maximum score of 1,000 points.
