Heroic duo in «Deadpool & Wolverine» – available in the VoD store from 26 November
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have spent years in public arguments parodying their superhero roles of Deadpool and Wolverine, but now they’ve finally met. Shawn Levy’s action comic «Deadpool & Wolverine» is a madcap anti-hero trip, with the two daredevils joining forces and bringing lots of buddy-film humour to saving the world. You don’t have to be a Marvel fan to enjoy this one.

When pop star Lady Raven (Saleka Shyamalan; the daughter of director M. Night Shyamalan) comes to town, it’s a dream come true for Riley (Ariel Donoghue). She goes to the concert with her father Cooper («Pearl Harbor» star Josh Hartnett). When the police then arrive and surround the arena, Cooper is seen in a different light. – A cleverly conceived, highly entertaining psychological thriller in which «The Sixth Sense» creator Shyamalan allows himself a little cameo in the finest tradition of Alfred Hitchcock

A me-too thriller set on a paradise island. When filthy-rich Slater King (Channing Tatum) invites gala waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) to his private «Pussy Island», she can’t believe her eyes. But this supposed paradise soon turns into a nightmare. From which there’s no escape. In her directorial debut, actress Zoë Kravitz («The Batman») settles scores skilfully, and extremely brutally, with male puppet-masters. A wild ride and not one for the faint-hearted!
Demi Moore in «The Substance» – available in the VoD store from 15 November
Body horror par excellence: Elisabeth (Demi Moore) was once a big film star but now presents a Jane Fonda-style exercise show. When her boss (superbly played by Dennis Quaid) fires her to replace her with a younger woman, Elisabeth is left with only one solution: a liquid called The Substance, which creates a more youthful, beautiful and perfect double of herself. But it doesn’t take long for true horror to emerge. – Critical of society, strong and to the point, but also disturbing in places.
Jean Reno in «My Penguin Friend» – available in the VoD store from 4 November
Inspired by real-life events, this emotional drama tells the story of a penguin rescue: after an oil spill, the waddling little cutie changes the life of fisherman Joao (Jean Reno) forever. And the pair soon become inseparable. A heartwarming family film featuring scenes of real penguins (and not CGI animations).

Iranian judoka Leila (Arienne Mandi) and her coach Maryam (Tsar Amir Ebrahimi) travel to Tbilisi, Georgia, for the World Judo Championships, hoping to win Iran’s very first gold medal. But during the tournament, the Iranian government tells Leila to fake an injury and drop out of the competition. Yet despite all the obstacles, Leila isn’t so easily stopped. A gripping black-and-white thriller that ruthlessly highlights how a dictatorial regime operates.
