The customer project manager's services include the following:
-
Initial project definition and project planning during the offer and contract phase.
-
Project implementation from order entry or contract signing to and including service handover to the company and the first invoice to the customer. In this context, our main tasks are to supervise and ensure the smooth installation of the services agreed in the contract.
-
Single Point of Contact during project implementation: The link between the customer and all Sunrise departments and any third parties involved in the service installation.
Since the service installation in most cases involves the migration of customer services, project implementation is typically divided into the following five phases:
-
Definition of exact goals, project organization, role definitions and responsibilities.
-
Detailed development of a new solution. The technical and organizational aspects as well as time and resource planning are defined. The delivery objects in this phase are, e.g. detailed concept, detailed migration concept and operational concept.
-
Technical implementation of the detailed concept with proof of concept or pilot project. In addition, the establishment and tests of operational processes. At the end of this phase, the project is released for the initiation phase.
-
In this phase, the solution is rolled out and put into operation. Finally, partial acceptance takes place, which then leads to project conclusion.
-
Both parties approve the project (protocol) after an acceptance inspection. The project is subsequently concluded and the project team is dissolved.
The CPM team places great importance on successful communication with the customer as well as a professionally completed project. The team uses internationally recognized project management methods and certifications from Hermes, PMI (Project Management Institute), PRINC@2 (Projects in a controlled Environment) and IPMA (International Project Management Association). This has resulted in the Sunrise project management handbook, which continues to develop through experience and lessons learned sessions.
