To stream Play Suisse content on your TV Box, you’ll need to log in to Play Suisse.

Accessing Play Suisse couldn’t be easier. Log in directly to the Play Suisse app on our TV Box using your Play Suisse login details or create your account right there and then. You can find the Play Suisse app in the «Apps» menu of your TV Box. Then follow the instructions contained in your confirmation email.  

A user account is required to access Play Suisse as well as personalised services. The Play Suisse app allows you, for example, to sync «My List» on all your devices and continue watching paused videos.

1. Log in directly to the Play Suisse app on our TV Box, follow the on-screen instructions and create your account right there and then. You can find the Play Suisse app in the «Apps» menu of your TV Box.  

2. Create a Play Suisse login from your computer via the following page: SRG Login (srgssr.ch), and follow the instructions on your computer or smartphone. Once the account has been created, the TV should automatically be connected. You can find the Play Suisse app in the «Apps» menu of your TV Box.

No, Play Suisse is a free Swiss streaming platform and it’s also available free of charge on your TV Box.

Play Suisse is a free Swiss streaming platform that offers a wide range of Swiss productions from every part of the country in both the particular programme’s original language and with subtitles in three to four of Switzerland’s national languages. It’s where you’ll find your favourite RTS, RSI, RTR and SRF shows, as well as numerous SRG SSR joint productions, enabling you to discover new things from other language regions as well as your own.

Yes. All the content is available in the particular programme’s original language along with subtitles in German, French and Italian, while selected titles are also available with subtitles in Romansh. If audio versions are available in other Swiss national languages, then they will also be offered.

Occasionally Play Suisse also broadcasts foreign productions. These are always provided in their original language whenever possible, but subtitles will always be available in at least three of Switzerland’s national languages, in addition to English subtitles in some cases.

Once your audio-visual content is being displayed, click on the language and subtitles icon at the bottom right of your screen. 

This depends on whether they’re in-house or joint productions. In-house productions – i.e. productions funded exclusively from the SRG SSR budget – can be made available online by SRG SSR in the Play Suisse catalogue for an unlimited period. Joint productions will be available on Play Suisse for between six months and five years, depending on the agreement with the rights holders.
