How are the landline numbers connected to the public phone network via Microsoft Teams?
Numbers are connected using an SIP Trunk (Sunrise Business Voice), which allows for an IP connection to the public phone network. All the necessary hardware components of the SIP Trunk are located in the high-availability Sunrise data centers. For more details, please refer to the flyer on Business Voice.
The CLIP management feature can be used to manage the phone number displayed when making outgoing calls via Microsoft Teams. You can use it to have an alternative phone number displayed for outgoing calls, while remaining available on your direct phone number. Configuration and management of this feature is quick and easy, through the Sunrise Business Portal (SBP).
