Business TV Public from Sunrise Business is a TV subscription for your business. The offer can be used flexibly via the app with any type of Internet connection and also with the TV Box via the Sunrise Internet connection. The app is available for Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Samsung Smart TV, mobile devices (iOS, iPad, Android mobile/tablet) and browsers. You can download it free via an app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

Business TV Public is designed for business and commercial use. Up TV M is for private use only. Unlike Business TV Public, Up TV M includes additional features, e.g. the recording of TV programmes, that aren’t permitted for business purposes for legal reasons. Business TV Public has been developed to meet the relevant legal requirements and is therefore the ideal solution for any business that wants to offer its customers and employees the best TV entertainment in the workplace.

Swiss companies that are subject to VAT and generate annual revenue of at least CHF 500,000 are required to pay a fee for TV and radio usage.

With a SUISA licence and Business TV Public, you satisfy all the requirements for public TV broadcasts in a business setting (e.g. break rooms) or a commercial setting (e.g. restaurants). The SUISA licence is not included in your Business TV Public subscription. You must apply for the SUISA licence yourself.

You can broadcast Business TV Public on screens or projection surfaces with a screen size of up to three meters for business or commercial use. The SUISA Common Tariff 3a applies here. For public viewings on screens or projection surfaces with a screen size of more than three meters, you need a special license from SUISA: Common Tariff 3c.

You can use Business TV Public for both commercial and private purposes. However, we recommend that you choose a suitable offer for private customers for your home.

The offer can be used on up to ten devices (TV, tablet, smartphone) at a time. Select the option that includes a TV Box to use the offer on up to five devices via the app, one device via the included TV Box and up to four optional devices via additional TV Boxes. There’s a fee of CHF 10.–/month for each additional TV Box. With the Business TV Public app subscription, the offer can be used on up to five devices.

When you purchase a Sunrise Business TV Public subscription, you have two options. With the TV Box option, you benefit from the highest streaming quality thanks our multi-award-winning Internet. It lets you stream on up to ten different devices: one via the included TV Box, four via optional TV Boxes and five via a free app. This offer is only available in combination with an Internet subscription from Sunrise. The app subscription, on the other hand, offers additional flexibility. It provides a streaming service for your TV and mobile devices via the app and can be used with any Swiss Internet provider. The multiscreen feature can be used on up to five devices at a time.

Yes, you can use the Business TV Public app subscription with any Swiss Internet provider. However, for the best streaming quality, we recommend combining Business TV Public with an Internet subscription from Sunrise.
