Summary
The Device Inventory (DI) is a feature that allows business customers to manage their mobile assets (handsets and tablets). In the inventory, companies can add/remove/modify devices used within the business organization. It also provides the possibility to define a direct association between assets and subscriptions, thus creating a link between employees and mobile devices.
Definition
By default, if the Device Inventory feature is enabled for your company, every device order is placed by a fleet manager with the Sunrise Business Portal (SBP) or by an employee with the Sunrise Business cockpit (SBC) will be automatically added to the inventory.
Device Inventory Overview
On this page, you will find the list of mobile devices with the most important information related to it.
By default, the requests will be sorted by “.....” However, by clicking on the arrow next to a particular column, you shall be able to change the sort order (ascending/descending).
From here you are able to:
Search by subscriber: give the first/last name of the subscriber to view all the devices associated to him/her.
Advanced search: view the device inventory associated to a name/mobile number/email/telecom provider/IMEI/status or other filters.
Download/Upload template: the model for the device inventory file.
Export: download the mobile device inventory in xls or csv format, with all details related to them.
Add device: from here you are able to order new mobile devices.
Action menu: it provides the following options - Edit device/Device history/View tracking details/Request repair/Transfer device or Delete device.
Device details: view the mobile device details, such as: device IMEI, telecom provider/order reference, tracking ID, end date, etc.
The main table on this section brings the following fields:
Device: all information related to the mobile device.
Subscriber: the first/last name and the number of the mobile subscription associated with the subscriber.
Email: the corporate email address associated with the subscription
Type: the payment procedure for mobile devices such as: Standalone, Device plan or DaaS.
Owner: the ownership of the mobile device can belong to the: company, employee or private.
Date of acquisition: when it was gained the possession of the mobile device.
Status: the current state of the mobile device.
In use: currently being actively utilized
Not in use: not in active use at the moment
In repair: device undergoing the repair process
Pending: the request waiting to be approved by someone from your company*.
Deleted: the device was removed from the Device inventory list.
