The monthly base fee for our subscriptions will rise by around 4% from July 1, 2023. This action is necessary to offset the inflation-related increases in energy, labor and operating costs that are also significantly affecting Sunrise. In 2022, Switzerland recorded the highest rate of inflation for many years (2.8%), with an additional 2.4% forecast for this year. Like many other companies, we are no longer able to absorb the extra costs through cost efficiencies alone and so we are adjusting our prices.
The price adjustment applies to the list price of the subscriptions. However, there will be no price increases for prepaid offers, installments for devices, options and connection costs.

The price adjustment applies to the list price of subscriptions from the private customers (consumer) portfolio and not to subscriptions from the Business portfolio. There is no price increase for prepaid offers, installment payment of devices, additional options and connection costs (calls / mobile data).
If your subscription is from the Up portfolio, you can find your new monthly base fee (list price) here: https://www.sunrise.ch/new-prices
If you have a product from a previous portfolio, you can calculate the new list price by multiplying your old list price by 1.04 (+4%) and rounding to CHF 0.10.
If you benefit from a discount, that discount will be applied proportionally to the new list price.
Example: Your list price is CHF 50 and you have a 50% discount (CHF 25). Your list price increases by 4%, so your new list price is CHF 52 and your new (50%) discounted price is CHF 26.
The price adjustment does not apply to installments for devices.
Yes, the price adjustment also applies to pending orders.
Example: If you ordered a product on April 15ᵗʰ, which activates on August 15ᵗʰ, then your price will be increased.
The price adjustment will apply starting from July 1ˢᵗ. You will see the adjusted price for the first time in your July bill.
Yes, your discount will be applied proportionally to your new monthly base fee (list price) and the duration of your discount will not change.
Example: Your list price is CHF 50 and you have a 50% discount (CHF 25). Your list price increases by 4%, so your new list price is CHF 52 and your new (50%) discounted price is CHF 26.

Sunrise Business is enforced by Swiss Federal Law to increase the VAT from currently 7.7% to 8.1% as per 1st of January 2024.
All Sunrise Business products and services (Business Portfolio) that have not yet received an inflationary increase will be subject to +0.4% VAT from January 2024.
Pls note: January invoice will contain pro rata calculation of fees from December with 7.7% VAT and fees from January with 8.1%.
The changes to the GT&C only apply to the private customers (consumer) portfolio.
Sunrise is updating the data-protection provisions in clause 9 of the GT&C to take account of the new Data Protection Act that will apply from September 1, 2023. The data-protection provisions in our GT&C outline how Sunrise processes your data and protects your privacy.
In line with the current standard in the telecoms market, we are also adding a clause on inflation to the GT&C (clause 2). Based on this, prices for services can be adjusted once a year to reflect the increased cost of living. The reference point used is the national consumer price index (CPI).
In order to offer you price stability, we will not make any further inflation-related price adjustments to subscriptions before 2025.
You can find the new GT&C and a comparison with the previous version at: www.sunrise.ch/gtc

Business products are not affected, the consumer products are affected. If the product name on your invoice includes «Bus» or «Business», it is a Business product. If you have any further questions, please get in touch with your Sunrise point of contact.
Our Business customers have contracts developed specifically for them and we have regular renegotiations which include, among others, inflationary adjustments. These agreements mainly relate to our Business portfolio, which is why we have excluded it from the current adjustment.
