Instructions to blocking SIM.
Summary
The block SIM feature allows the portal users to disable it from calling or receiving calls; the card will not connect the network for messaging or internet. While the unblock SIM feature gives the possibility to reactivate a blocked SIM and continue calling, receiving calls, messaging and using internet connection. Below you can find step-by-step instructions which show how to block / unblock a SIM card.
Selecting the SIM card
In order to block a SIM card, your first step is to get to the SIM card :
The first option is to enter the mobile number or the SIM number (ICCID) (1), in the search box located at the top of the page. The related subscription will be displayed in the next window.
The second option is to go to the “Mobile” section (a) and then choose one subscription from the list (b).
Once you get to the subscription page, scroll down to the "SIM cards" section. Click on the action menu (three dots on the right) of the SIM card you want to block and then choose the option "Block SIM".
Blocking the SIM card
After choosing the option “Block SIM”, check the SIM details: Mobile Number and the SIM Card Number, then click on "Confirm".
*Note: Before starting the process, please be aware that blocking a SIM card does not stop the billing of the subscription associated to it.
This will be followed by a success message to confirm that the request has been submitted successfully.
*Note: Please wait until the changes will take effect, so you can see the status of your SIM card changed from “active” to “blocked”, on the subscription page.
